Job Description: Store Cashier
Purpose:
As the first and final point of contact with customers, Cashiers at Floor & Decor must be attentive, courteous, and helpful. They spend their time checking out customers, processing returns, performing necessary cash office duties, and other tasks while providing a memorable and enjoyable experience for each shopper.

• Exceptional customer service often involves being empathetic, listening to customer concerns, providing timely solutions, and exceeding expectations whenever possible.
• Show a commitment to safety guidelines and avoid risky behaviors.
• Adhere to the organization's core values by consistently behaving and performing tasks accordingly.
• Handle customer transactions during checkout utilizing the point of sale (POS) system.
• Observe pre-determined protocols when dealing with customer reimbursements and item exchanges.

• Ensure that you follow the standard protocol for accepting cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Greet the person on the phone adhering to the company's prescribed phone answering guidelines.
• Set up, identify, and exhibit goods as directed.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
• The participation age requirement is 18 or above
• Knowledge of basic math skills is vital in ensuring accuracy and precision in fields like science and engineering
• Customer service experience
• Assistance may be extended by traveling to other stores
Job prerequisites including travel and environmental variables:
• As a part of this job, the worker may encounter a warehouse environment and moving vehicles at times. The noise volume within the work atmosphere is usually quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements:
• This job description involves performing Medium Work duties, which include applying a force of 20 to 50 pounds at intervals, or applying a force weighing between 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds of force consistently. The job requires the employee to lift, move, or displace objects by different movements, including pushing, pulling, among others.
