Job Requirements:
• Educational Attainment: Diploma or Degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical or other relevant fields system
• No. Years of Experience: Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in handling engineering stores or warehouse activities or previous experience within a Purchasing environment. Able to identify engineering parts; Experience in FMCG/Manufacturing Industry, preferably MNC; Computer literate.
• Certifications/Training Needed: Knowledge in CMMS, Possession of license is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Behavioral Qualities/Traits: Ability to focus on key objectives and work within specific time frames. Highly organized and action orientated. Well-organized and apt in problem-solving and attention to details. Team-working skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels.

Role & Responsibilities:
Purchasing Activities:
• Creates Purchase Order (P.O.) in ERP System and sends it to respective suppliers once approved by authorized signatories.
• Obtains at least three (3) quotations for materials when stock reaches the minimum "re-ordering level."
• Procures spare parts, equipment, and materials locally and overseas.
• Processes purchase requisitions/orders in accordance with company policy and regulations.
• Obtains multiple quotations from suppliers for price and value comparison.
• Negotiates supplier contract terms and conditions.
• Maintains supplier database and ensures timely communication for order delivery.
• Updates and maintains purchasing records, reports, and price lists.
• Coordinates with logistics department for overseas orders.
• Coordinates with accounts department for invoices and payment matters.
• Reports directly to Purchase Manager.
• Generates and forwards POs to Management on a weekly basis.
• Monitors warranty jobs and follows up for warranty replacements.
• Constantly identifies new suppliers for parts and materials.
• Constantly identifies contractors for jobs and services.
Storekeeping Activities:
• Receives materials from suppliers based on purchase orders.
• Confirms and approves Delivery Note and Invoices, prepares, approves, updates, and files Goods Received Note (GRN) records.
• Stores materials categorized by type and classification - (1) machine wise; and (2) category-wise.
• Generates Goods Receipt Note using ERP & CWORKS system upon material receipt.
• Updates inventory on C-MMS/C-Works system.
• Enters and updates materials using CMMS System to monitor re-ordering level.
• Maintains stock levels within maximum and minimum limits.
Quality & Safety Practices Compliance:
• Follows appropriate quality and safety practices, procedures, technical regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintains compliance with GMP, ISO, QMS, HACCP, 5-S, and Work Safety standards.
• Adheres to Pest Control standards and practices, as well as Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives.
• Supports cost-effective practices and continuous improvement efforts.
Cost Reduction:
• Contributes to the plant’s cost reduction program.
• Monitors stock items accurately to avoid loss and damage of tools and equipment.
Reports:
• Submits monthly reports to Management in a timely manner.
• Reviews and monitors cycle counts.
