Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Strategic Asset Management Specialist to champion the implementation and continuous improvement of our ISO 55001 certified Asset Management System and Electricity Network Safety Management Systems.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind maintaining the effectiveness and regulatory compliance of our asset management frameworks across NSW, ACT, and VIC. You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure we meet our statutory obligations and continue delivering safe, reliable energy infrastructure.
You will manage safety and risk assessments, help teams understand and adapt to asset management practices, and support performance and compliance reporting. You'll also keep track of regulatory changes, update relevant documents, and work closely with both internal teams and external regulators to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You’re a systems thinker with a strategic mindset and a strong foundation in asset management principles. You thrive in complex, regulated environments and have a knack for translating technical requirements into practical improvements. Your collaborative nature allows you to engage effectively across all levels of an organisation — from regulators to executive leaders.
About you
Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline.
Experience in risk management processes and/or process safety
Demonstrated experience in the application of risk management to support asset management decision making and formal risk assessments
Knowledge of the asset lifecycle management and systems to support and meet ISO 55001 requirements.
Knowledge of the principles and experience in working with Management Systems, including, Health and Safety, Environment, Electricity Network Safety, Asset Management and Quality.
Ability to understand internal and external stakeholder requirements and develop awareness, communications and management strategies
Demonstrated experience in the application of risk management to support asset management decision making and formal risk assessments.
