About the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission:
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent agency responsible for improving the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services.
The Commission serves as the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia, upholding high standards of governance and compliance.
The Finance team plays a vital role in managing key financial functions, ensuring the Commission's operations are aligned with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Interpreting and reporting on regulatory requirements to relevant bodies, including the Australian National Audit Office and Australian Taxation Office
Information gathering and reporting on GST, Fringe Benefits Tax, audits, and compliance
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Preparing high-quality management reports and work papers
Accurate and timely preparation of journals and reconciliations
Providing financial support services for business areas, ensuring accurate financial information for robust decision-making and financial compliance
Management of internal budgets, financial performance reporting, and management accounting analysis/advice
Capability Requirements:
A positive and contemporary attitude towards people with disability
Developing and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders
Collaborating effectively as a team member and operating within competing demands and deadlines
