Full-time Perm -
Location: North Parramatta, Hybrid – WFH 2 days a week
Attractive remuneration – Base salary + up to $18,550 tax-free salary packaging + 12% super.

About the Role
Are you a visionary workforce strategist ready to make a lasting impact?
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Strategic Workforce Planning Lead to drive the future of our workforce across the Communities Directorate, which includes Disability, Mental Health, Early Learning, and Child & Family Services.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the charge in future proofing our organisation, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles, at the right time to meet the evolving needs of our clients. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to design and implement workforce strategies that are innovative, data-driven, and deeply aligned with our mission to support vulnerable communities.

You will:
Partner with senior leaders to develop workforce plans aligned with evolving service priorities
Design and implement a practical, data-driven workforce planning framework
Use internal data and labour market insights to anticipate and respond to future workforce needs
Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Learning teams to ensure operational and strategic alignment
Support initiatives like volunteer strategies and workforce pipeline development
Empower leaders with tailored tools, visualisations, and strategic insights to build their workforce capability
Align local workforce strategies with Uniting’s broader organisational mission and values
This role suits a strategic thinker who is confident turning complex data into clear, actionable plans that support sustainable growth and service excellence.

About you
You’re a proactive, people-focused strategist who thrives in cross-functional environments. You’re equally confident navigating data as you are building trust and influence across senior teams.

You’ll bring:
5+ years’ experience in strategic workforce planning or related fields
Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills
A mix of analytical thinking and practical problem-solving
Passion for purpose-led work and improving community outcomes
Inclusive leadership and a commitment to equity and diversity
Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Strategy, or related disciplines
