Job Title: Street Sweeper Driver Helper (Overnight)
Location: 6150 Nichols Drive, Mableton, GA 30126
Shift: Overnight Shift (Schedule based on business needs)
Rate of Pay: $17.50 per hour
Job Summary:
SCA is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver Helper to support street sweeping operations and roadside litter removal along interstate routes. This overnight role is essential in helping maintain clean, debris-free roadways and supports the safe operation of sweeper trucks.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, pays close attention to detail, and is physically capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist sweeper truck driver with route and field duties
• Perform roadside litter and trash pickup in front of the sweeper truck
• Complete all assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and service quality
• Exercise caution during nighttime operations and adverse weather conditions
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the driver or supervisor
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior outdoor labor experience preferred
• Ability to follow directions and read maps
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
• Physically capable of frequent walking, bending, stair climbing, and standing for long durations
• Moderate physical activity including reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping
