Mental Health branch student nurse who is in their 2 nd or 3 rd year student nurse training
Midwifery student who is in their 2 nd or 3 rd year of training

We are currently recruiting bank health care support workers to join the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Trust bank, to work at both the Women’s and Children’s Hospital sites, if you have the relevant skills and experience, we will welcome your application.

Completed your first year and have this signed off at university, and commenced second year.
Actively continuing with your student training.
Not undergoing any fitness for practice investigations

To support in the delivery of high standards of nursing care in partnership with women, children, young people and families in a safe and professional environment .
To care for a defined group of patients, this could be women & children requiring assistance with daily activities. The HCSW role may at times be required to extend to cover the duties of House Keepers, if service requires. All duties always will be indirectly supervised by a registered practitioner.
As an organisation we are committed to ensuring all areas have staffing numbers and skill mix to deliver safe quality care to all our women, children and young people. This means that staff groups may be asked to move to other areas at short notice by a senior manager to ensure safe delivery of care.
