Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to join our team in Fortitude Valley, Bris. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and assistance to students, ensuring their academic journey is smooth and successful.
Respond to student inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, offering guidance and solutions.
Assist students with various administrative tasks, such as registration, course enrollment, and record maintenance.
Serve as a liaison between students and faculty, facilitating effective communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Provide information and resources to students regarding academic policies, procedures, and support services.
Collaborate with other departments and staff members to ensure seamless student support operations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the student experience.
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues
Proven ability to multitask, prioritise competing demands, and solve problems efficiently
High attention to detail with excellent organisational and administrative skills
Proficiency in student information systems, databases, and related software applications
Experience in customer service or student support, ideally within an educational or academic environment
