Role Description
We are looking for a 8+ years of international experience creative designer ready to join our New Delhi HQ reporting directly to our Chief Design Officer (CDO)
The role of a Design Studio Head is multifaceted and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the successful operation and creative output of the design studio. Here are the key aspects of this role:
Leadership and Management
• Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Talent Development: Identify and nurture talent within the team, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the team has the necessary tools and support to excel.
Vision Implementation
• Vision : communicate the creative vision of the company and strategic direction for the studio, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
• Project Oversight: Oversee all design projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and creativity while adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Innovation: Encourage experimentation and the exploration of new design trends and technologies to keep the studio at the forefront of the industry.
Client Relations
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into compelling design solutions.
• Presentation Skills: Present design concepts and proposals to clients, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions effectively.
Strategic Planning
• Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business and collaborations, contributing to the growth and success of the studio.
• Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the studio, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability.
Operational Excellence
• Process Improvement: Implement and refine processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity within the studio.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold high standards for all design outputs, ensuring consistency and excellence
Cross-functional collaboration
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and sales to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align design strategies with overall business objectives.
• Team management: coordinating the different Design Team Leaders on a daily basis for project development.
