Job Description
The Housekeeping Supervisor role at Stonebridge is a full-time, non-exempt position paying $29 per hour. Reporting directly to the Director of Style, the person in this role supervises the Style Department, which comprises the housekeeping and laundry staff. This role is critical in supporting the Executive Housekeeper by managing daily operations and ensuring that the department operates efficiently and effectively. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining the aesthetic upkeep and hygiene of the hotel’s guest rooms and public spaces, which directly influences guest satisfaction and the hotel's reputation.
In this position, the supervisor will be responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating the housekeeping team to uphold the highest cleanliness standards. They will coordinate scheduling, monitor performance, and help control departmental expenses through budget and inventory management. The role requires ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures while also responding to any issues related to guest services or housekeeping operations. Emphasis is placed on leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced work environment.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will also be responsible for compiling reports on room status for the front desk, coordinating lost and found items with security, and maintaining labor productivity goals. This position demands frequent physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds, and requires a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The working environment is primarily indoors with occasional outdoor duties.

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field preferably in a hotel environment
• Experience managing staff schedules performance evaluations and training programs
• Proficiency in budgeting inventory management and cost control
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word Excel Outlook and housekeeping management software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to address guest and staff concerns professionally
