Position VM Display Stylist Lead (Creative)

Reporting to Manager Head- Visual Merchandising
• Scope of the role Manage the Traditional/Modern category of Visual Merchandising - Design Function at retail for Tanishq India, to ensure brand presentation at all retail outlets.
• Job Profile · Works along with ops to prepare VM calendar for the year based on marketing/merchandising/retail activities. · Is responsible in developing the briefs for the Display stylist team after interacting with the Product Design, Marketing, Merchandising and Retail teams depending on the project requirement · Creative directing the display stylists in designing product presentation concepts based on the brief, besides guiding them on material explorations, form generation and final design docket presentation · Also guide in developing other design dockets for festivals, activations, Exhibitions, Special promotions etc. · Ensuring Prototyping and Merchandising activities for all campaigns and ROM (Retail ops material like Display Busts & trays, mirrors etc) to be monitored. · Works closely with the VM Projects and VC teams for a seamless execution of all campaigns and projects. · Responsible for Customer Experience, Product Packaging and gifting design for all brand needs · Works closely with the space design team for merchandise zoning and development of relevant presentation material. · Plan/ travels to workshops/Exhibitions/Seminars for display stylists on design and trends · Ensures regular interaction with the RVMs and guides them accordingly. · Develop Industry and design institution interactions to help procure talent involves additional travel to derive essence of the festival/ activation to connect to local communities
• Key Deliverables · To ensure VM support in time for Regional Activities, Marketing led campaigns and promotions meeting brand standards and within budgets allocated. · Regularly participates store visits to inspect and supervise adherence · To follow the design process as per time schedule and specs required by production for timely execution · To bring in new techniques, crafts, new techniques, material exploration and green methods in each project · Working with self-help groups to promote crafts and generate employment · Communicating / coordinating with all concerned departments for key inputs and briefs
• The right person · Accessory Design/Product Design/Spatial Design/Fashion Management graduates or PG with exposure in Retail/Spaces. · Around 8-10 years of experience in managing a team of Creative Display Stylist · Strong in Concept Design, Space & Aesthetic sense with ability to incorporate new trends into VM Narratives. · A good knowledge of materials, techniques and trends. · Cordial, people friendly and open minded · Considerable exposure to global brands on Brand presentation and retail experience standards is essential. Very strong in storytelling. · Exposure to Project management would be preferred. · Interest in Indian culture, architecture, arts, and crafts is a must. · Strong attention to detail is a must. · Good communication skill is a required quality! · Good knowledge of Softwares like Coreldraw/ Adobe Suite, MS Office & Sketchup or any other 3d software’s is an added advantage. · Brands to look for Good Earth, Fab India, Nicobar, AND, Ritu Kumar, Rohit bal, Purple Turtle, HomeCenter, Amrapali, Swarovski, Forest Essentials, brands which are strong in storytelling
