Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Mathematics
Requirements:
· Expertise with Mathematics concepts/topics at school level (ICSE and/or CBSE)
· Strong conceptual understanding of primary and middle school Mathematics (Grades 1–8)
· Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (MSc / BSc Mathematics) OR
· Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology
– Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial & Systems, Telecommunications
· Full professional proficiency in English language (writing, speaking and reading)
· Acute attention to detail and academic rigour
· Excellent communication and coordination skills
· Mental versatility to think like a primary-grade student
· Willingness to relocate to Ahmedabad, Gujarat
· Strong work ethics and high work quality standards
· Basic knowledge, skills, and working functionality awareness for Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
· Creating and curating Mathematics content and assessments for Grades 1 to 8 (ICSE curriculum)
· Working collaboratively with experienced in-house Subject Matter Experts to develop academic content
· Getting familiarised with academic audit templates, benchmarks, and quality parameters
· Analysing and assessing the quality of curriculum content and content delivery
· Internalising academic standards to ensure consistency and depth across materials
· Shadowing the team leader to understand academic assignment and assessment blueprints
· Demonstrating cognitive flexibility to design content aligned with students’ developmental stages
· Ensuring conceptual clarity, logical progression, and age-appropriate scaffolding
· Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times, and priorities to team members
· Planning work schedules ahead of time in concurrence with team members and leaders
