About the role
Join us as a Subject Matter Expert in AWS, where your technical expertise will be pivotal in optimizing and managing cutting-edge cloud infrastructures that support customers' critical IT needs globally.
• Providing Technical Expertise: Responsible for resolving complex AWS service issues by troubleshooting and implementing solutions while staying updated on new AWS technologies.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline AWS operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in infrastructure management.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the smooth functioning of cloud infrastructure, monitoring critical components and supporting major incidents and changes.
• FinOps: Manage and optimize cloud costs through effective financial operations and collaboration with teams to ensure best practices are followed for cost efficiency.
• Security Management: Implement security best practices within the AWS environment, monitor for security events, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Application Management: Handle the deployment and maintenance of applications on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor AWS infrastructure for performance issues and take corrective actions as needed.
• Capacity Planning: Anticipate and plan for infrastructure capacity needs, ensuring readiness for future growth.
• Backup and Recovery: Develop procedures for backup and recovery to safeguard business continuity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and mentoring to ensure the needs of the organization are met.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of AWS infrastructure processes and share knowledge with team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency and reliability within AWS operations.
• Vendor Management: Manage AWS vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and contractual obligations.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of AWS infrastructure performance and provide insights to stakeholders for decision-making.

You are a passionate cloud SME with over 5 years of experience managing large-scale AWS environments. Your exceptional technical acumen enables you to troubleshoot complex issues and provide scalable solutions while maintaining a strong grasp of security practices. You communicate effectively with diverse teams and adapt to evolving technologies with agility.
Your professional skills:
• Possesses extensive knowledge of AWS services and architecture, ensuring efficient implementation and maintenance of cloud solutions.
• Demonstrates proficiency in using monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and ELK for proactive infrastructure management.
• Has experience with configuration as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for automating infrastructure deployment.
• Understands and applies security best practices specific to AWS environments to safeguard and enhance system integrity.
• Expertise in managing various database technologies, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and optimized for cloud environments.
Your soft skills:
• Exhibits strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
