Clipboard Education partners directly with educational institutions to facilitate connections between outstanding education professionals—including substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and early education aides—for both daily and extended placement opportunities. Our core mission focuses on pairing seasoned educators with schools that value committed teaching professionals.
Position Overview
We are currently recruiting substitute teachers for placements spanning kindergarten through twelfth grade (K-12). We provide both daily assignment opportunities (short-term/daily coverage) and extended substitute roles (longer placements spanning weeks to months). Our partnering schools value educators who demonstrate excellence in creating engaging, inclusive learning environments that accommodate students with diverse learning approaches.
Available Assignment Categories
Daily assignments: Day-to-day teaching placements with adaptable scheduling options
Extended roles: Longer-term teaching placements extending from multiple weeks to complete semester coverage
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate instruction spanning various subject areas and grade levels
Support lesson plan execution and educational programming
Track and encourage student academic and behavioral development
Foster consistent communication with families and educational staff about student requirements
Collaborate effectively with teaching teams and school communities
Deliver targeted support for students with diverse needs (including ADHD, behavioral challenges, etc.)
Support classroom management and student oversight when required
Qualifications
Experience engaging with children in educational or childcare environments (we value hands-on experience above formal qualifications)
Background working with students with diverse learning differences is highly valued
Dedication to maintaining professional appearance standards
Adaptability to work different schedules depending on assignment category and institutional requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.25 - $24.06 per hour
