Empire Glow/Glow Kids is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing enriching and memorable experiences for children and youth. We believe in creating a positive and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and have fun. Our Summer Day Camps are designed to offer exciting activities and adventures during the school break, and we are seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as Camp Leaders.
Position Overview:
As a Day Camp Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, engagement, and enjoyment of our day camp participants. You will lead a variety of activities, foster positive relationships with campers, and contribute to the overall success of the camp program. This position is temporary and part-time, aligning with the duration of the Summer Break. You may apply for one week or multiple weeks.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and games.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all camp participants.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for campers.
Lead and supervise group activities.
Effectively communicate with parents and guardians as needed.
Collaborate with other camp staff to create a cohesive and enjoyable experience for all.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is desired.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, creative, and passionate about working with youth.
CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
Background check is required.
Schedule:
Week #4 (August 5 - 8, 2026), from 8:30am-3:30pm
Week #5 (August 11 - 15, 2026), from 8:30am-3:30pm
Week #6 (August 18 - 22, 2026), from 8:30am-3:30pm
