Position Summary
As a Summer Student, Operations reports to the Manager, Technical Services and will provide support for the day-to-day operations of the building maintenance.
Responsibilities
Maintain Quality Building Premises
General maintenance including but not limited to housekeeping, i.e., sweeping, litter pick up, shoveling, coil cleaning, pressure washing etc.
Painting as required, this may include but not limited to common areas, mechanical rooms and/or exterior fixtures.
May assist with projects as required.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations and execute all work in a safe and professional manner.
Deliver Excellent Service to Tenants
Provide excellent quality Tenant services, emphasizing a co-operative, helpful and non-disruptive approach in all interactions with Tenants.
Promote Environmental Sustainability in Building Operations
Support best practices to reduce energy consumption.
Perform other related responsibilities as requested from time to time
Education & Experience Requirements
Secondary Diploma, required
Post-Secondary Education: Currently a 3rd or 4th year student, required
