Are you keen to start a successful career in a practical and forward-thinking learning environment? If so, we think our Apprenticeship scheme could be a great fit. You will gain qualifications while earning a salary, so it is a fantastic alternative to college or University!
Develop your skills by working on real life projects whilst also being supported on a guided learning journey where you will gain a wide range of hands-on experience in Siemens Energy Grid Technology Solutions Procurement. This will be a 3-year long apprenticeship working towards a professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

How You'll Make an Impact

SCM professionals are vital for the efficient functioning and profitability of any organisation. They use their knowledge of procurement to support the wider business to win work and successfully execute projects. Activities include supplier development & qualification, quotation and tender response evaluation, contract negotiations and order placement, management of live orders and supplier performance reviews. As a Supply Chain Management Apprentice, you will:

Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Be open, honest, respectful and reliable.
Be enthusiastic and passionate when adhering to company values and engaging in your personal development.
Be attentive to the detail in any procurement and negotiation activity.
Be professional, impartial and unbiased in your communication, advice and recommendations to procurement stakeholders or colleagues.
Be self-motivated to develop and learn

What You Bring

You will be on track to achieve A Level grades A-C or above in Mathematics & English. A-Level or similar qualification in an engineering or business-related subject is also desirable.
You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
You can work independently, safely, and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
