Support Worker – Mental Health & ABI (Brisbane South Side)
Casual / Part-Time Position
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team, providing high-quality support to individuals living with mental health conditions and acquired brain injury (ABI) in the Brisbane South Side area.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will assist clients to achieve their goals, increase their independence, and participate actively in the community. This includes personal care, transport, social support, and helping manage daily tasks in line with individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centred support for clients with mental health and ABI needsAssist with daily living activities including personal care and meal preparationSupport community engagement, appointments, and recreational activities
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Promote a safe and empowering environment for all clients
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or ABI
Valid National Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Valid Blue Card (Working with Children) and Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening)
Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
