Each Tangata will have high risk individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as Palliative cares, Bowel cares, Dementia, Mental health, Medication.
Whakangungu | Training
We provide practical and online training during the first few weeks of employment. With the added bonus of year-round training with regular refreshers and new modules to keep skills up to date.
Mōhou Ake | About You
Level 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (recognised in NZ)
Spinal injury experience
Stoma Management experience
Experienced in the use of a full, standing and two-person hoist
Experience administering prescribed medication
Love working with people and helping them thrive
Intuitive and responsive to people’s needs
Own a smartphone
Have the right to work in New Zealand
Full/restricted driver’s license
We are currently hiring for the following days and hours:
Every second Wednesday from 4pm - 8am
Every second Weekend from 7am - 4pm
Availability to cover sleepover shifts when needed
