Key Responsibilities
Support consumers with daily living tasks such as personal care, grooming etc.
Provide emotional support and companionship to consumers, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
Promote independence and encourage consumers to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the consumers care, including family members and external healthcare professionals.
What You Will Need
You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career as a support worker. To be considered for these roles, you will need:
Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support, or completion of first year of Bachelor of Nursing
Previous experience working within a related field
Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team.
Current Police Check or willing to obtain.
