Responsibilities
The Clinic Supervisor will provide leadership expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care
Maintain medical equipment, identifies, and resolves clinical problems as applicable
Assist physician with hospital procedures and rounds if credentialed. (RN and LPN only)
Perform routine patient check-in procedures, including workups and new patient history
Schedule patient appointments as needed
Hire, train, evaluate, and develop assigned staff
Guide staff performance by providing regular feedback, consultation with performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings
Triage patient phone calls and handle other patient calls as appropriate
Explain procedures and prep instructions to patients
Escort patients throughout the office as needed
Prepare examination rooms to include cleaning and restocking of supplies
Administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intravenous (RN and LPN only) medications upon direction of a physician
Perform phlebotomy for lab work and complete required forms
Approve prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies at direction of physicians
Obtain authorizations for medication as necessary

Gastroenterology Associates, PC is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to join our team to help drive patient success in our community. The Clinic Supervisor will provide leadership expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. This person is an essential member of our team! We are searching for a passionate Clinic Supervisor to work Full Time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at our clinic in Warrenton, VA. This position provides a great work - life balance as you will not have to work any nights or weekends.
