The impact of buildings on the environment is shaping the way in which our clients invest in, develop, manage, or occupy buildings. In this world of growing sustainability expectations, making sure you have access to the right advice has never been so important.
We are seeking for a driven and passionate Sustainability Analyst to join us in Melbourne. You will be part our wider Sustainable Operations team, providing environmental reporting and improvements for a national portfolio across varied asset classes. You will be analysing critical environmental data and providing recommendations that drive measurable changes.
Whilst this is a hybrid role, please note that you will be required to attend the office three days a week in the inner CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and interpret sustainability performance data including energy consumption, water usage, waste management, and greenhouse gas emissions
Prepare compelling reports and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients
Manage utility billing coordination and prepare financial budgets, accruals, and forecasts for energy and water
Identify sustainability improvement opportunities and develop business cases for environmental projects
Conduct sustainability data audits and present performance metrics to key stakeholders
Research industry best practices, trends, and technological advancements in sustainability
Collaborate with Facility Managers to implement solutions that reduce environmental impacts
Support project management initiatives to deliver client-approved sustainability projects
Key Skills and Requirement:
Tertiary education in Finance, Engineering, Science, or related field
Demonstrated experience in analysing sustainability performance data
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities with talent for presenting complex information clearly
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across diverse audiences • Self-motivated with proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Experience with Envizi software is highly desirable
