B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.


Position


Talent Acquisition Administrator, Edmonton – 1 year contract.


Location and Reporting Structure


Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, this position is a 1year temporary position based in Edmonton, Canada.


Responsibilities


Post job advertisements on various job boards;
Support the creation of new hire offer letters ensuring accuracy of compensation package as outlined per role;
Administer new hire documentation, including contracts, identification, tax, and compliance forms and communicate same to the payroll, travel, and IT divisions;
Coordinate the administrative aspects of the onboarding process and new hire follow-ups;
Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases;
Collaborate with HR team to gather necessary information and facilitate the completion of required tasks;
Follow up with hiring managers on shortlisted candidates and schedule interviews;
Participate in career fairs and support recruitment efforts; and
Successfully manage multiple priorities with a consistent track record of delivering on-time, high quality results.

Desired Competencies and Requirements


Two (2) years’ experience in administration with a high-volume talent acquisition, legal or sales team. Experience in the mining and resource industry is a significant asset;
Post Secondary Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management Studies;
Excellent attention to detail and strong Microsoft Suite skills; and
Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, enterprise ATS or HRIS is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits


For informational purposes, the estimated salary for the role is $70,000.00
