Job Description

Job Objective
• Creating a dynamic, inclusive and high-performance stimulating work environment for site employees through effective HR processes & policies, talent acquisition, learning & development, talent management, employee engagement & HR operations
• Support local leadership in meeting business objectives through effective HR & talent practices
• Create value addition for business and competitor differentiation through innovative use of people dimension
• Monitor and manage people related risks in line with Enterprise Risk Governance Framework
• Develop local level leadership capabilities and growth

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with BU HR Head to understand the business priorities, overall strategy and plan for the HR function to detail out the annual charter for sites with the aim of supporting business goals
• Participate in defining the HR function road map and operational plans for the BU and Site
• Prepare the budget for the Site and ensure adherence to the prescribed Group/BU level guidelines Take corrective action for any budget deviations and escalate any issues if necessary
• Drive adherence to the defined HR Policies and frameworks at the Site level propose periodic changes to HR processes/ interventions in the line with the changing dynamics at the Site level

Organization Design
• Contribute to Strategic Workforce planning process and document long term requirements for the Site basis the site objectives and labour market dynamics
• Partake in organization structure design for the Site and make recommendations to BU HR Head for updating it as per changing requirements of the Site Support documentation of job descriptions for these roles at a Site level
• Execute Job evaluation exercise Site level Implement & integrate Band & grade structure with various talent process and ensure compliance

Organizational Sustainability
• Communicate Adani core values, vision and mission to the Site and ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct Work towards building a robust leadership pipeline for Site future readiness
• Drive adherence to HR governance frameworks established at the Group/BU level Participate in governance committees to discuss and resolve issues at Site
• Co-ordinate for site performance reviews and collaborate with the concerned stakeholders to develop effective action plans basis the audit and review findings

Employer Branding
• Participate in EVP framework building exercise and ensure EVP statement is successfully communicated and understood at Site
• Actively engage and collaborate with strategic partners and leverage networks for value creation for Adani
• Collect data to participate in &lsquobest employee studies Stay abreast of latest industry/market trends

and draw insights to enhance HR processes for the Site
Talent Acquisition
• Understand site requirements and work with Business HR Head to finalize and detail out annual manpower requirements for sites
• Ensure alignment of strategic workforce plans to the short-term business resource needs Provide insights in devising sourcing plan and determining recruitment channels for sites

Integrated Talent Management
Talent & Career Management
• Ensure smooth communication and implementation of talent management processes at the Site level (such as leadership development, HiPo&rsquos identification and development initiatives, performance, and career management through mentoring and internal career movements)

Capability Building
• Provide inputs for formulation of capability building (L&D) philosophy for the organization Assess the training needs of employees at the Site keeping in mind the future business requirements

Performance Management Systems
• Participate in the Agenda Setting Conference to help formulate KRA&rsquos for the Site Facilitate KRA

• Drive self-assessment and lead the mid-year reviews and ensure feedback for site employees is captured online in the PMS system
• Adopt the role of the mediator in case of any divergent viewpoint and facilitate calibration exercise to finalize performance ratings for Site level positions

• Ascertain adherence to the compensation & benefits policy across sites
• Participate in defining of incentives and benefits plan and represent site perspective (E.g.: Pay performance matrix and type of benefits offered)

Employee Engagement and Connect
• Drive implementation of employee engagement initiatives across sites such as employee engagement surveys, pulse checks, etc. to ensure high level of employee engagement and retention

• Contribute to the formulation of the IR & ER strategy and provide strategic support in drafting policies & guidelines for outsourced manpower management for the Sites Seek approval and publish the same
• Closely monitor IR health and adherence to statutory compliances at the Site level Lead resolution of labour grievances raised through mechanisms at Site
• Lead community relations at respective sites by engaging with local communities, government officials and regulatory bodies to ensure amiable relationships and productive site environment

HR Operations and Technology
• Ensure smooth functioning of HR operational systems at the Site and facilitate resolution of recurring issues and escalate matters where necessary
• Partake in end to end HR Technology enablement process including:
• Identification of areas within HR which could be automated/ integrated with technology at a Site level
• Supervision of broad-level solution/ overall solution architecture in co-partnership with technology SME
• Review of partners/ solution providers to develop appropriate infrastructure/applications
• Ensure smooth operations and maximum leverage from new technologies integrated within respective processes at Site level
• Generate meaningful insights by analysing employee data and share with the leadership team

External
• Collaborate with Business HR Head with the objective of aligning the Site HR strategy to the overall strategy for BU & Site
• Interact with a wide spectrum of consultants and build strategic relationship with them with the objective of leveraging them for business advancement in the future
• Collaborate with IR specialist to ensure all statutory requirements pertaining to contract labour are fulfilled
• Participate at different forums, attend conferences to explore new HR trends
• Conduct frequent interaction with other key stakeholders and COEs (SSC Head, IT Head, Finance Heads) to ensure smooth running of all HR processes at the Site level
• Maintain ongoing communication with local communities, government officials and regulatory bodies for a productive and amicable site environment
• Gathering/ Addressing employee feedback, concerns and queries maintaining connect with employees
Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor&rsquos degree in Business Management/ Organizational Psychology or relevant field
• Higher degree in relevant field preferably

Experiences :
• Minimum 15 years of work experience with 3 years in a similar role - leading a sub-vertical within the HR function or leading the HR function for at least two medium/small d Organization with preferably the same industry as Adani (Ports, Power, Thermal)
• HR Leadership experience managing a direct team of 3-5 members
