Job Summary

Stratus is growing! The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading the recruitment and hiring efforts of the organization, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to meet current and future business needs. This role involves developing and executing recruitment strategies, managing the talent acquisition team, and collaborating with leadership to align hiring initiatives with organizational goals. The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a key role in promoting the organization’s employer brand, fostering a positive candidate experience, and implementing innovative talent sourcing methods.

Primary Essential Functions
• Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire high-quality candidates across all levels of the organization.
• Lead and manage the talent acquisition team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team meets hiring goals.
• Collaborate with department leaders and HR business partners to understand workforce needs, align recruitment strategies, and create accurate job descriptions.
• Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
• Actively manage and work on assigned requisitions, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to ensure timely fulfillment of critical hiring needs while balancing leadership responsibilities.
• Build and maintain a strong employer brand by promoting the organization’s culture, values, and career opportunities through social media, events, and partnerships.
• Develop and maintain a diverse talent pipeline by leveraging job boards, networking events, university partnerships, and other sourcing channels.
• Use data-driven insights to monitor recruitment metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Negotiate offers with candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational compensation structures and candidate expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices to enhance talent acquisition strategies and processes.

• Work collaboratively and effectively with clients and colleagues including cross-functional teams, peers, direct reports, and leadership, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment strategies, talent sourcing methods, and best practices.
• Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to hiring.

• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.

• Strong leadership and team management skills for guiding and motivating talent acquisition professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in negotiation and offer management to align candidate expectations with organizational goals.
• Analytical skills for tracking recruitment metrics and using data to drive decisions.

Qualifications

Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• An acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred
• Certification in HR or Talent Acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, CTAS, CIR, PRC).
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for the AEC industry.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
• Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, telephones, and printers.
• Occasional light physical activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials (up to 20 lbs.).
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and through written communication.
