Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify and attract top engineering/non-engineering talent for our organization.
· Developing a deep understanding of the skills and qualifications required for different engineering roles and identifying top talent that meets these criteria.
· Work closely with hiring managers to understand their engineering staffing needs and collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions that accurately reflect the required qualifications and skills.
· Conduct thorough pre-screening interviews and assessments of candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
· Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to identify and attract candidates, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
· Utilizing non-conventional recruitment methods, such as hosting hackathons or coding challenges, implementing referral programs, and direct sourcing to identify and attract top talent.
· Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
· Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in engineering recruitment strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
· Assist with other HR-related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in engineering recruitment.
· A deep understanding of the engineering industry and the skills and qualifications required for different engineering roles.
· Ability to successfully attract and hire top-class talent.
· A commitment to diversity and inclusion and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with diversity hiring.
· Experience with non-conventional methods of hiring, such as referral programs, social media recruiting, and hackathons.
· Experience with various recruitment tools and platforms.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
