KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and execute the recruitment process for manager level and below open roles; including determining the appropriate search strategy, posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting offers, conducting due diligence, and tracking progress through all stages
Own the master recruitment tracker in Microsoft Excel; keeping record and up to date notes on all active and closed searches
Provide quarterly analytics of recruitment activity to the HR team as requested
Leverage relevant recruitment channels such as LinkedIn, Indeed, community associations/networks and referrals to source active and passive candidates; recruiting both actives roles and building talent pipelines
Create, review and improve job descriptions for open roles
Build effective relationships with stakeholders by working directly with hiring managers to successfully fill roles and meet the needs of the department
Vet and partner with external recruitment agencies as needed
Utilize analytical skills to track and report on key recruitment metrics ensuring effective, efficient, and unbiased hiring
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on the internship program for co-op/student hiring with local universities/colleges ensuring constant engagement with schools and exploring opportunities with universities to attract new grads
Ad hoc Talent Acquisition projects such as the annual review of recruitment process and policies, background check processes, and research into diversity initiatives
Participate in industry networking events to continuously refine our best practices and ensure we are using up to date methods of recruitment
Requirements
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
3 - 5 years of experience in recruitment and interested in building a career in talent acquisition
Experience running co-op recruitment and working with career services departments for events/ engagement
Must have strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and how to extract analytics
Degree or post graduate diploma in HR, or another relevant field.
Demonstrate initiative combined with drive, determination, and commitment to complete tasks from start to finish
Excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with a proven ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and emails efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and experience reading and reviewing employment agreements.
