As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you’ll be right at the heart of our recruitment and onboarding activity across The BUSY Group. Every day you’ll help shape a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for new team members joining our growing organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Recruitment Coordination
Keeping our recruitment process running like clockwork with strong admin support across the end‑to‑end lifecycle
Posting and maintaining job ads and keeping an eye on incoming applications
Conducting phone screens and coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers
Organising reference checks and collecting required documentation
Onboarding Coordination
Preparing and sending new starter documentation — contracts, policies, welcome packs, and more
Managing pre‑employment checks (WWCC, National Police Checks, qualification verifications, etc.)
Setting up new employees in our HR systems with accurate, complete data
Working with hiring managers to ensure new starters have everything they need — equipment, access, workspace, and a warm welcome
General Team Administration
Updating and maintaining employee records in our HR systems
Supporting team projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring confidentiality, compliance, and alignment with BUSY’s policies and legislative requirements
Promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people by following the Child Safety National Principles and BUSY’s Safeguarding Policies

This is a permanent full‑time role based at our Southport Head Office, working 2 days a week from home.

A bit about you…
You’re someone who genuinely enjoys keeping things organised and running smoothly, and you bring a positive, people‑first approach to everything you do. Your background might include HR, recruitment, or a related field, or you may have built strong admin skills in fast‑paced environments and are ready to take the next step.
You’ll shine in this role if you bring:
A qualification and/or hands‑on experience in HR, recruitment, or a similar area (desirable but not essential if you have great admin capability).
Confident communication skills and the ability to build warm, professional relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
Strong organisational instincts — juggling priorities, managing deadlines, and keeping processes on track comes naturally to you.
Solid computer skills, especially across Microsoft Office and HR/ATS systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
A trustworthy approach to handling confidential and sensitive information.
A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with the flexibility to adapt in a busy, fast‑moving environment.
A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service and a great candidate experience.
The ability to obtain a Blue Card, open driver’s licence, and National Police Check.
