Job Summary
The Talent Development Manager will identify, and monitor talent development needs locally, and design, plan, and implement programs, policies, and procedures aligned to global talent strategy to fulfill those needs. Role responsible for managing talent development initiatives in India and Australia locations.
Jobs & Responsibilities
Global Programs and Processes
Partners with local and global HR and Talent teams on rollout of global processes.
Assists with launch and ongoing management of global programs (e.g., performance, talent review, engagement, leadership development, employee development)
Utilizes global tools and systems (e.g., Glint, Paylocity, LinkedIn Learning, On Background) to promote local adoption and consolidate reporting.
Collaborates with Global Talent team on local opportunities (e.g., operational changes or industry developments) that training and or process improvement can address.
Manage local stakeholders to ensure buy-in on key processes.
Create and manage local communication strategy for local leaders and employees in support of global programs and processes.
Perform Talent Development administrator tasks as needed.
Create and Facilitate Training Locally aligned to Global Philosophy
Reviews existing training programs: suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of employees and/or organization.
Ensures alignment of local programs with global strategy and guidance when facilitating or creating new content.
Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
Ensures that training and programmatic milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skiils / Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven program/project management skills.
Thorough understanding of talent development processes.
Skilled meeting and training facilitator.
Extremely organized and detail oriented.
Able to collect and communicate data.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or Communications or related area required.
Experience working in global organization with team located across multiple countries/time zones.
At least two years of experience in training with one year of supervisory experience required.
