Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tally Accountant to join our team. As a Tally Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Tally software, possesses strong analytical skills, and is highly organized.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally software.
Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Perform regular internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in financial transactions and resolve any issues promptly.
Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support for decision-making.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Tally Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficient in using Tally software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance procedures.
