Responsibilities
Schedule: M – F (8:00-5:00); Flexible hours when feasible
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including multi-state returns
Perform tax planning and projections
Update depreciation schedules
Train Jr. accountants on the team by sharing resources and knowledge
Analyze client accounting records provided for adjustments necessary for an accurate tax return
Work with clients on routine accounting questions and assist them with adjusting journal entries and other accounting corrections in their system (primarily QuickBooks)
Research and respond to IRS, state and local tax notices
