Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our operations including the IRS‑sponsored tax assistance programs (TCE, LITC, VITA). You will manage our Hempstead location and conduct visits to organizations such as senior centers and libraries, collect intake information from individuals, and ensure all documentation is properly organized and delivered to our accountants for tax processing. This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, community‑focused, and comfortable working directly with the public.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to interact professionally with seniors and diverse community members.
Detail‑oriented with strong record‑keeping abilities.
Familiarity with IRS programs (TCE, LITC, VITA) is a plus.
Must be able to travel locally within Long Island to designated sites.
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
