Profile Summary: We are seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated professionals to join our Canada Accounting & Tax team. The ideal candidate will either have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Canadian bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation or will be a qualified Inter CA / CA with a solid foundation built through 3 years of articleship.This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about building a long-term career in Canadian accounting and tax services.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Canadian clients using platforms like QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, or Sage.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and working papers.
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Assist in year-end closing and adjustments, including accruals, depreciation, and provisions.
Taxation:
Prepare and file corporate tax returns (T2) for Canadian clients.
Assist in preparing personal tax returns (T1) and GST/HST returns.
Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations and CRA filing deadlines.
Work with the team on tax planning and advisory tasks as needed.
Client Communication & Coordination:
Collaborate with Canadian clients and internal stakeholders for data collection, clarifications, and timely delivery.
Address and resolve queries from clients and CRA, under supervision.
Quality & Compliance:
Adhere to internal quality standards and checklists.
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all processes.
Other Responsibilities:
Participate in internal training programs related to Canadian taxation and accounting.
Stay updated with changes in Canadian tax laws and accounting standards.
Provide mentorship to junior team members, if at Senior Associate level.
Requirements:
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
Inter CA or Qualified CA with completed 3-year article ship training.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in Canadian accounting and tax (preferred).
Candidates without Canadian experience but with strong articleship exposure in accounting, auditing, or taxation may also be considered.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, CaseWare, TaxCycle, or similar platforms (training can be provided).
Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
Good understanding of IFRS/ASPE and Canadian taxation principles.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Job Location: Ahmedabad
Shift Time: 4:00 PM IST – 1:00 AM IST (drop-off facility will be provided)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
