Job Description
Eastern Silks Industries is an Indian Originated textile mill manufacturing exquisite fabrics. We are looking for a Tax Accountant to prepare tax payments and returns for our company. To succeed in this role, you should show interest in following changes to tax regulations and laws. Excellent time management skills are also essential, as you'll have to ensure our company meets tight deadlines. Tax Accountant responsibilities also include organizing and maintaining records of tax payments.
The Role
You will be responsible for :
• Developing and leading tax strategy in line with the overall business objectives.
• Ensuring tax compliance by reviewing direct and indirect tax returns, tax provisions and attending to tax queries.
• Developing and leading both tax-savings opportunities and tax solutions through working closely with multiple stakeholders.
• Providing advice and guidance on all tax related matters.
• Assisting with tax audits.
• Monitoring developments regarding tax policies to effectively analyse proposed tax policy changes and evaluate impact so as to develop and execute plans accordingly.
• Working with finance and other cross-functional teams to implement and improve end-to-end tax process and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Delivering accurate and timely production and delivery of reporting to clients by ensuring efficient and accurate trade processing, NAV review, Corporate Actions processing, security valuation, financial statements production, query handling and other ad hoc reporting for funds.
• Ensuring that team members comply with operating policies, procedures and guidelines in completion of Fund Accounting processes.
• Ensuring service level agreements and memorandum and client delivery summaries are maintained.
• Acting as a point of escalation for complex client issues.

Ideal Profile
Skills Required:
• You have a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance.
• You have at least 1 year experience within a Corporate Tax or Fund Accountant role, ideally within the Manufacturing industry.
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
