Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant. The Accountant is responsible for managing our financial transactions, preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable
Zomato / Swiggy Sales recon and sales data
Prepare financial statements and analysis
Analyze financial reports / various MIS Report
Supervise accounting department junior employees and accounting assistants
Maintain company accounting procedures and processes
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
Record financial information for analysis
Assist accounting manager in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for managers, executives, and C-Suite executives
Advise on procedure and financial management
Develop procedures to improve efficiency
Forecast and plan for future needs
Assist with audits and taxes
Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders
Maintain account balances and bank statements
Manage general ledger and assist month-end/year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with all internal processes
Qualifications
Experience in accounting and finance
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, and Govt portal for (Gst / Tds / Esi / PF)
Ability to maintain accurate and timely records
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Relevant certification such as CA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus
Experience in the food and beverage industry is mandatory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to analyze financial records and interpret for other departments
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations
Ability to handle the accounts department and manage group company accounts.
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Previous experience as an accountant, junior accountant, or accounting supervisor
Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
