Amit Desai & Co is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Mumbai, serving Listed Corporate and HNI clients in various areas of tax and compliance. Our services include filing income tax returns, appearing before tax authorities for assessments, handling dividend payouts, issuing form 15CBs and 15CAs, tax audit and transfer pricing reports, filing SFT reports, and other income tax compliance work.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Assistant at Amit Desai & Co in Mumbai. The Tax Assistant will be responsible for following activities of a specific client (firm)
• Preparation of Income Tax returns
• Preparation of Tax audit reports
• Issue of form 15CBs for foreign remittances
• Filing of TDS returns
• Payroll computation of employees (including review of form 12BB)
• Attending Scrutiny notices
• Rectification of Income Tax Orders / Intimations
• Preparing submissions for the CIT(A)
• Attending routine notices like Notice u/s. 133(6), 245, outstanding demands etc.
• Preparation of financials
• Other ad-hoc work as may be required by the senior management.
Qualifications
• Tax Preparation and Tax Compliance skills
• Experience in using Accounting Software and managing Financial Statements
• Payroll Administration expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-learner and pro-active
• Leadership skills
• Semi-qualified CA who has quit CA or a CA fresher shall be preferred
• Any other person from Accounts and Tax background with relevant exposure and experience may also apply.
Remuneration
Remuneration will be as per Industry standards and will depend on the skills and the interview of the applicant.
