We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our Alternative Educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth. As a Teacher, you will develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience. Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusivity, and active participation.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and well-being.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
Experience
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential.
Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified teachers.
Strong understanding of curriculum standards and educational best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
