The Opportunity
Enriching teaching positions are available in early, and middle - upper primary school aged classes at Autism Queensland Sunnybank Hills School for Term 1 2026.
Part-Time opportunity (Monday, Tuesday+ every second Wednesday) & Full-time opportunity in junior years.
Small classes of 6-8 students
Wide degree of support from an interdisciplinary team of teacher aides therapists, wellbeing, and behaviour support practitioners.
Ample street and some onsite parking available, and easy access to some of the best eateries in Brisbane! (Sunnybank).
Our P-12 independent school in beautiful Sunnybank Hills (Brisbane’s southside) is built on a strong inter-disciplinary foundation of Teachers, Teacher Aides and Allied Health Professionals. Working in a collaborative, supporting environment tapping into our market leading research to provide quality education and support to autistic students.
As a Teacher, you'll support the planning, teaching and assessment in an alternative, flexible model of learning for autistic students, embracing a holistic, strengths-based, and neuro-affirming approach as we strive to empower each student to thrive in an environment that fosters their individual growth.

Requirements
Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
Demonstrated experience with school aged autistic children
Demonstrated understanding of current principles and practices for supporting students with diverse learning needs across a range of environments.
