Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging online lessons, activities, and assessments in [Subject/Area of Expertise] using appropriate instructional methods and technologies.
Facilitate live online classes, discussions, and interactive sessions to promote student engagement and understanding.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments, assessments, and participation.
Monitor student progress, performance, and attendance, and intervene as needed to support student success.
Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment that promotes collaboration, critical thinking, and respect for diverse perspectives.
Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure the effective delivery of online instruction and student support services.
Stay updated on best practices in online teaching, educational technology, and [Subject/Area of Expertise] through professional development activities and self-directed learning.
Adhere to institutional policies, academic integrity standards, and applicable regulations governing online education.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with B ed [Subject/Area of Expertise], Education, or a related field.
Previous experience teaching or tutoring in an online or virtual learning environment preferred.
Proficiency with online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and educational technology tools/software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and motivate students in an online setting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
