Qualifications
Must have one of the following:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Minimum 6 months experience directly working with young children
Must have or apply for a level one Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must be First Aid and CPR trained
Must enjoy working with children and be able to relate to them and their parents
Must provide proof of immunizations and a negative TB test
Must be 18 years or older
Responsibilities
The teacher aide is responsible for the care and supervision of all the children at the preschool
The teacher aide is also responsible for assisting the teachers and teacher assistants in educating the children in a manner consistent with our Christian foundation and in accordance with the policies and philosophy of Prince of Peace Preschool
The teacher aide is also responsible for the direct care and supervision of the children after teachers and teacher assistants leave for the day
