Job Description
Teacher is required for coaching class for class 8-12. This is a part time job normally during evening hours. The candidate should have knowledge of Maths ,science, Hindi ,English, Social Science. Key soft skills include communication, empathy, patience, and adaptability, while hard skills encompass lesson planning, classroom management, and technology proficiency. Additionally, leadership, collaboration, and the ability to assess and evaluate student progress are crucial for successful teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Subject Instruction:
- Teach core subjects including Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), English, Hindi, and Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) to students of Classes 8 to 12.
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the respective board syllabi (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Tailor instruction to suit varying learning levels and styles within a group.
- Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure a respectful and focused learning environment.
- Motivate and inspire students to achieve their highest academic potential.
- Address student behavior constructively and implement classroom rules effectively.
- Lesson Planning and Content Delivery:
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and notes in advance to ensure effective class delivery.
- Use visual aids, digital tools, real-life examples, and interactive techniques to simplify complex concepts.
- Ensure complete syllabus coverage within the academic timeline while balancing revision sessions and practice.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Design and administer regular quizzes, class tests, mock exams, and assignments to track academic progress.
- Evaluate answer sheets, provide constructive feedback, and guide students on areas of improvement.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams by conducting thorough revisions and doubt-solving sessions.
- Student Support and Counseling:
- Offer academic counseling and extra help to students who are underperforming or need personalized attention.
- Communicate effectively with students to understand their learning needs, challenges, and strengths.
- Create a positive and encouraging environment to reduce exam stress and build student confidence.
- Parent Interaction:
- Provide regular feedback to parents on their child’s academic performance and behavior.
- Attend and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss progress and collaboratively plan interventions.
- Suggest strategies for students to improve study habits and performance at home.
- Record Maintenance and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, test scores, assignments, and student feedback.
- Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to the academic coordinator or coaching director.
- Keep an updated record of syllabus completion and class activities.
- Professional Development and Team Collaboration:
- Stay updated with changes in board exam patterns, marking schemes, and curriculum changes.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to share best teaching practices and ideas.
- Participate in training workshops, seminars, and internal assessments to enhance teaching skills.
