Job description
We are looking to hire creative & enthusiastic educators with high levels of energy, willing to work with a community of 20-30 adolescents (aged 12-18 years) residential in a farm.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Helping the adolescents to learn academics in-line with IGCSE Framework
- Guiding the adolescents individually to face IGCSE exams
- Working alongside the adolescents in the farm everyday
- Offering lessons connected to real life experiences
- Offering lessons in line with the work of the farm, connecting curriculum with practical application
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Participating in their life as an adult role model
- Inspiring and motivating the adolescents in order to support moral and social development
- Minimal usage of mobile phones while in the community
Minimum Qualifications:
- Age : 25 – 40 years
- Bachelors/Masters in any/more of the following disciplines
o Language(s) – English, Tamil, Hindi, French
o Arts – Creative Art, Theatres, etc
o Sciences – Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Astronomy, Economy, Environment, etc
- 5+ years of proven experience working with international schools with boards like IGCSE/IB. CBSE or ICSE can be considered based on the merits of the applicant.
- Excellent verbal and written, digital communication skills
- Working Days: Mon – Fri (Saturday planning).
- Working Hours: 6 am to 3.30 pm
- Food: Can be provided (Vegetarian food prepared in the farm)
- Accommodation: Can be provided (if willing to be residential at the farm)
- Transport: Preference to candidates with a 2/4-wheeler & valid license
