Teacher of Design Technology (Product Design and Textiles)
NOW Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Design Technology teacher to join a superb school in Bromley starting in September.
As an English teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to secondary students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and supports individual learning needs.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement effective schemes of work and resources.
• Utilize a range of teaching methodologies, techniques, and resources to enhance student learning.
• Monitor and manage student behaviour to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative learning experience.
Requirements:
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology
• Ability to adapt teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with primary/secondary students.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to actively contribute to the school's extracurricular activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £177.00-£236.00 per day
