The Opportunity
You’ll provide innovative, dynamic, and responsive delivery to meet the needs of our English students. At the Joseph Wright Centre, DCG’s Academic & Arts centre, we offer thriving English courses, including GCSE and A-level. You’ll manage students' learning, inspire and support them, and continually raise their achievements. You will embrace Information Learning Technology, adapt teaching materials, and manage flexible learning environments. Your responsibilities include planning schemes of learning, providing effective feedback and tracking student progress.

About You
You’ll have teaching experience in A-Level English, with experience in teaching multiple subjects or different levels being desirable. You will work closely with management, colleagues, and students to ensure success for both the college and students. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are essential. You are qualified at degree level in English and hold a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or are working towards achieving this.
