Are you an enthusiastic Teacher of History, with a passion and the aptitude to teach all secondary students 11-18 years of age?

The successful candidate will have a real determination and vigor to deliver stimulating and innovative lessons and will be keen to get involved with activities in our wider academy community.

A passion for the long term success of students with an ambition to ensure they enjoy 70 or more fantastic years after they leave us.

An enthusiasm for coaching/nurturing using excellent people skills and a high level of empathy.
A willingness to face new challenges.
A hunger for both autonomy and accountability

The Samworth Church Academy opened in September 2008 and enjoys 21st century facilities, highly motivated and professionally developed staffing which allows us to focus on our fantastic students with a mission to be ‘the best we can be’.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic and committed team in our academy.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers, as well as from recently qualified teachers. We support our ECTs through a bespoke internal training programme with a dedicated mentor, supported by access to external programmes.
