Job Description
Wakatipu High School’s vision is to deliver Aotearoa New Zealand’s best all-round education. We are looking for a great outdoor education professional to teach senior outdoor education. The ideal candidate will be formally qualified in a variety of mediums (such as alpine, bush, rock and kayak) and be an effective leader of organisational outdoor safety systems.
The successful applicant will be excited by the opportunity to deliver a future-focused and holistic education in a flexible learning environment - they will be pedagogically progressive, student-centred, have a growth mindset, form effective professional relationships, and be keen to contribute to the all-round education of our students.
The ability to teach Outdoor Education to Level 3 is preferred. Please state any other specialist subjects.
