Heritage Christian School is seeking a dynamic and passionate educator to join our close-knit team for the 2026–2026 school year. This 60%-80% teaching contract includes:
60% Kindergarten Teaching
20% Junior Grade Teaching

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a vibrant Christian faith and a clear desire to share the love of God with students.
Be enthusiastic, warm, and friendly, creating a nurturing and joyful classroom.
Bring experience with primary-aged children and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
Be knowledgeable about the science of reading, executive functions, growth mindset, and utilizing learning targets.
Demonstrate organizational strength and excellent communication skills.
Thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Show initiative, creativity, and a heart for helping young learners grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Qualifications:
Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
Experience in Kindergarten or early primary grades is strongly preferred.
Agreement with and commitment to the mission/vision and statements of faith of Heritage Christian School.
