There is no other school in New Zealand like ours, offering a second chance for ākonga to re-engage in NCEA. The Secondary Tertiary High School is different to a conventional mainstream school setting; our pastoral care and wrap around services support ākonga learning and achievement in a holistic learning environment. We manaaki our ākonga for whom mainstream high schools are not meeting their needs with a high level of pastoral care and dedicated teaching time. We also enjoy high levels of whānau involvement to support ākonga be successful.

You will enjoy:
Low pupil to teacher ratio’s, eg 1:16
A small roll of 200 ākonga
Inclusive, student-focused teaching
Wrap around services for ākonga and pastoral care
Pathways into both secondary and tertiary sectors
