Job Description
The Alton Community Unit School District 11 is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Paraprofessional to join our team. This position will work closely with certified teachers to provide support to students with special needs.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide instructional support to special education classroom teachers as needed
Implement classroom management strategies to promote student learning and well-being
Assist with small group instruction and activities
Support students with various learning needs in a variety of subjects
Maintain accurate records and grades
Qualifications:
Current paraprofessional licensure with registration in Madison County
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform other job-related tasks
