Job Description
We are seeking a Primary Teacher to join our team at Aspect Western Sydney School. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a learning environment that tailors to the individual needs of students through evidence-informed best practice in autism.
The role involves working closely with a team of passionate professional educators, including teacher aides, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and school psychologists, to develop and deliver quality learning programs.
This wrap-around multi-disciplinary approach to support means that you will gain new skills and work experience that can help you reach your professional goals.
About the Role
Full-time position for a Primary Teacher
Base salary $83-122k + special education allowance $3,557p.a.
L ocated at Aspect Western Sydney School at one of our satellite classes in the Blacktown region
Maximum term contract for 2026
Requirements
Special Education qualifications preferred
Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with other intellectual disabilities (desirable)
NSW Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment
Depending on the school's location/requirements it may be essential to have a current driver's licence
